Welsh Rabbit for St David's Day!

To celebrate St David's Day, Tiddy and I made some Welsh Rabbit. There are no rabbits in it...or chocolate. I can see you, Tiddy!

Here are the ingredients. Don't forget to use a nice Welsh Caerphilly cheese!

First, Tiddy toasted the bread. We had one slice each. That is just enough for  a small bear. Adults may like 2 slices, as it is so delicious.

I grated the cheese and put it in a saucepan with milk, salt, pepper and some mustard. I mixed it as the cheese melted. It didn't take long. 

We popped some chopped ham on the toast, poured the mixture on and then added a bit more ham. Can you guess which one Tiddy made?

After a few minutes under the grill, our Welsh Rabbit was ready to eat. It tasted scrummy, even without Tiddy's chocolate!

Rock a bye baby!

Have you ever wondered where we sleep when we are on a boat? Well, here's our cabin. There are lots of cabins on the boat.

As soon as we got in, I booked the top bunk! Charlie didn't mind, as she was too busy playing computer games to think about sleeping.

I snuggled up while Charlie watched us sail away from the land.

Charlie had a drink of hot chocolate in a cute smiley cup before she went to bed.

I crept down the ladder and took this picture after she was asleep. Charlie doesn't snore like me. She squeaks!

In the morning, I had a quick shower and then we were on our way again.

I love sleeping on a big bobbing boat!

Life on the ocean wave!

Tiddy and I love to go sailing on boats. Here is Tiddy on the car ferry.

The car ferry was HUGE! Can you see the big yellow bus hiding?

It is a long way to climb all the way to the top of the ship, especially if you only have little legs, like me and Tiddy!

It was worth the climb for the fabulous view out of the window.........

....and the play area! I loved these rocking horses. Tiddy could make his go much faster than mine!

Tiddy also liked driving the Mario Kart game. He's so clever, but he did crash a few times!

I was a bit worried about these furry creatures, as there was a huge metal grabber that might catch them! Tiddy said not to worry, as they want to be caught so they can go to live with other people and have adventures like us. He knows important things like that.

I have been busy planting tomato seeds in my baby greenhouse. Can you see the pots?

Here's one. It is a tomato called Hillbilly! It sounds like a funny tomato!

 This one is called Golden Sunrise and is gong to have yellow tomatoes! Honest!

Here we are, having a rest after I had taken my little plants for a walk. They were very tired, so we sat by the cactus to catch our breath.

Suddenly, we were attacked by a giant snail!!! I had to wrestle with it to save the poor little plant.


Don't worry though. Everything is OK. I told the snail that chocolate biscuits are much nicer than tomato plants, so we all went off to have a cuppa and Mr P's secret stash of chocolate biscuits. Don't tell him where they went!!!

A donut ate me!!!

When we were in Cardiff, I met a giant donut. He tried to eat me!! Honest! Here's a pic of me before I escaped. Hee hee. He wasn't real, so don't worry. The world is full of such great things!

Cardiff Christmas market

We just got back from the most Tiddytastic trip to Cardiff!

 Charlie wanted her photo taken by the pretty shops with the decorations on.

Look at the cow and candy canes on top of this roof! If you look carefully, you will see Santa sneaking down a chimney!

 I was a bit tired, so I decided to have a sit on the lap of this polar bear. I wasn't scared though, as he wasn't real....I hope!

After my rest, I joined in with the snowmen all climbing up to make a tower. The polar bear wanted to join in, but he was a bit too heavy for us all to hold!

The Hayes Island Snack Bar looked the best, with Santa, two Christmas trees and loads of tinsel.

The reindeer are in town!

On Saturday, Tiddy and I heard that there were reindeers in town, so we set off to find them.

Tiddy saw this sign, so we knew we were on the right track. We were so excited. Would we see Rudolph? 

Further along the street, we saw a Punch and Judy show. It was very funny, but there were no reindeers there.

Just around the corner, we saw Santa!!!! He told us that there were reindeers in town, but Rudolph was at home polishing his nose ready for Christmas Eve. So, they really were here, but where?




It wasn't long before we found them! There were two super cute reindeer. Tiddy liked the white one best. I liked the brown one, as she had lots of pretty shades of brown. Can you see the fur on the antlers?
