Bread of Heaven!

Hi Everyone,

we've just watched the rugby from The Wales Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. We live near Cardiff, but because we are in Sunny Spain, we watched it on the telly.

There were lots of people wearing really cool welsh things. I liked the daffodils.

I like dressing up, but I
don't think my kilt would have been a good idea, cos we were playing Scotland!

Charlie would have looked really cool in her Welsh Costume though.

The match was very good even though nobody was scoring very much.

Then in the second bit it got really exciting. They put two naughty Scottish men in a bin and we scored loads. Gosh they must have a big bin to fit two in it!

I was so excited I jumped up to get a closer look. I was stood right on the line when Mr. Halfpenny scored a try!

We were so excited we all started singing Bread of Heaven with the crowd.

I think Mr. Halfpenny is soooo cooool, cos he has a real cool name and he scored tons of points for Wales today. We had the most brilliant time singing and shouting and watching Wales win!
Mr.P said that the Scottish men played a very good game, but he was very happy Wales won just like me!

Back soon,

Super soup.

Charlie here!
It was a windy day, so I decided to make a nice soup with our beautiful vegetables! The other bears wanted to help.

First, I put some olive oil in the pan, while Ted watched. Can you see him?

Then, I chopped some onions and garlic. The twins and Tiddy were being quite well behaved.

Then Tiddy got bored and made a hat out of a pepper while I was chopping the tomatoes. He looks like he had got red hair, hee hee. Then he tried to use the end of the tomatoes as eyelashes. Doesn't he look funny? Hee hee!

Tiddy got the chocolate out of the cupboard. He wanted to add it to the soup, but I said it wasn't a good idea. He's such a funny bear!

I fried the onions and garlic, then added the peppers and tomatoes, with some salt, pepper and water.

After simmering the soup for 30 minutes, I put it into bowls. I like this soup as it is, but Tiddy wanted crispy bacon on the top of his.

I hope you liked my recipe.

We have a winner!!!!

Charlie here!
I have gathered up all the entries and put them into a random number generator.

It was very exciting. Tiddy made a drum roll noise and the twins clapped loudly!

The winner is someone who's name begins with the letter K.

Hopefully, they will send us a photo of them with the prize, so we can put it on the blog. Congratulations K!

Wow what a Game!

Hi Everyone,

I just had to come back and tell you about what a fabulous fanteddytastic game of rugby we just watched!

I forgot to bring my red and white scarf to Sunny Spain, but Mrs.C had bought some leeks in the market and she let me borrow one.

I was very excited cos Wales was winning and I'm a Welsh teddy with a heart from Cwm Tiddy Bay.

Ted and Ed were a bit confused, cos they are from China, and didn't understand why the men were fighting over a ball when it wasn't even a proper round one.

The twins were having a great time climbing.  I was too excited to climb, cos it was such a brilliant game.

Mr.P was very excited too and he kept shouting at the Telly. I don't think he agreed with the ref when he said no to the first try :-)

Ted and Ed are very good climbers. They loved the view from the top of my leek. We watched the rest of the Game together. It was so, sooooo exciting!

Ireland was winning, then we were winning, then Ireland was winning again. Then, a naughty welsh man was put in a bin. Then Mr.P was shouting again and there was only seconds to go when we scored.

Mr.P was very happy, and I was very happy, cos Wales had won. Ted and Ed were happy cos they got to climb a leek.

No Snow in Sunny Spain Yet!

Hi Everyone,

I saw the snow on the news and it made me a bit sad that I couldn't go out on my sledge cos I remember the snow last winter in Windy Wales.

But there's no snow in Sunny Spain!!!

Mr.P was really kind and said we could all go out for a ride and do one of my favourite things, looking for boats!

I love boats and there's loads to see in Sunny Spain. Today we went to Playa Castillicos, the word Playa means Beach. Ooooh I can talk Spanish :-)

The boats were fantastic and I soon forgot all about sledging in the snow.

Oh! Got to go now, cos the rugby is starting. Here's one last picture to show you the boats Mrs.C likes.

Oh! It's kick off!

Bye,

Tiddy The Troglodyte!

Hi Everyone,

I've seen lots of cool buildings and houses in Sunny Spain, but do you remember the one I saw on Mr.P's birthday?

This was a real cool house, cos the man who made it wanted to keep cool when it got very hot in the summer. So he made a cave house!

This was a really clever idea. Instead of building a house on the mountain, he built one inside it.

Sometimes, these houses are called Troglodyte Houses, cos there were cavemen called Troglodytes, who lived in caves ages and ages ago. I think that's the most cool name for a house.

So it's cool in the summer, got a cool name and best of all, it's cool to climb on!

I like the name Tiddy The Troglodyte.

Bye,
