Pretend Paris in Las Vegas!

Hi Everyone,

in my last blog I said I'd tell you about more pretend things in Las Vegas. Well take a look at these...

This is the Eiffel Tower in Paris!

And this is the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas!

Honest, I'm not kidding! This is a real Eiffel Tower, and it's in the Paris Hotel, Las Vegas!

Look! Here's a picture that proves it's really there...

Like everything in Vegas it looks brilliant in the day time and even better in the night.

There's a restaurant half way up the tower and a lift that will take you right to the top.

The view from the restaurant was very good...

But the view from the top of the tower was absolutely Fanteddytastic!

Charlie will be here soon to tell you about the super special meal we had at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant and why we went to Vegas!

Bye,

London, Paris and New York (nearly)

Hi Everyone,

remember I told you about how we time travelled to Las Vegas? Well, it gets even better. Las Vegas is like a magic place. You can go around the world just by crossing the magic street called Las Vegas Boulevard.

For ages I've wanted to go to New York so that I could say, 'Tiddy's done London, Paris and New York.' Well take a look at this...

That's right! It's the Statue of Liberty. The most famous statue in New York and probably the whole wide world!

So now I can say 'Introducing Tiddy of London, Paris and New York.' Oooooooooh! That sounds good!

There's only one tiny problem.

This is really, the real London...

And this is really, the real Paris...

But it wasn't really, the real New York, or the real Statue of Liberty. It's a very good pretend statue, that was outside a hotel in Las Vegas. The hotel was called the New York, New York and it was brilliant!

The hotel was made of sky scrapers, with a roller coaster going right past the towers.

It was a real roller coaster and you could ride on it for 14 Dollars, but I was too short.

They even had a pretend Hudson River at the bottom of the statue with a big boat!It was a super duper New York Fire Department Boat.

Well I might not have been to New York yet, but Mr.P said we'll definately go there one day. Until then, I'm glad we went to Las Vegas cos it was amazing.

I'll be back soon to tell you about loads of other fanteddytastic pretend places in Las Vegas!

Tiddy's Posh Place

Hi Everyone,

I want to tell you about the absolutely brilliant place we lived in at Las Vegas. It was called The Signature at MGM Grand. We lived in Tower 2 and our posh place was on Floor 26!

There were 3 towers and they were very, very tall.

We lived very high up and I loved looking out the window.

It was totally fantedytastic and in the night it was even better.

Charlie and me would sit for hours looking at the beautiful lights.

There was a sofa, a chair, a coffee table, a dining table, a big microwave...

and a massive bed.

The bathroom was brilliant with a huge mirror and a bath that was nearly as big as the bed!

But the best bit of the bathroom was the TV.

We even had a lovely garden where we could lounge around on the comfy seats.

Our Signature home from home was so good I could have stayed in all day, but this was Las Vegas and there was lots to see.

So I'll be back soon to show you all the super duper things we saw out and about in Las Vegas.

Back soon,

Charlie and the Cheesecake Factory!

Charlie here!

We've had a wonderful time in Las Vegas. One of the best bits was the amazing food!

One of my favourite places was The Cheesecake Factory. Some people  have heard of The Cheesecake Factory from a TV program, called The Big Bang Theory. I dont know what that is, but I know the food is delicious!

I had the Chicken Madeira, with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was a very colourful meal, and I ate every last bit of it.

Tiddy decided that he would go for a steak. He likes his steak very well done, which means the chef cooks it for ages and it shrinks a bit. There were also chips and onion rings on the plate. Tiddy ate it all up, except for one chip, as he let me try one. In America, they call chips 'fries'.

After our main meal, it was time
for our cheesecake! Even though I was quite full, I managed to eat some of my slice of Lime and Mango cheesecake. My belly felt like it was going to go 'pop', so the nice waiter put it in a box for me to take home. It was a very big slice of cheesecake, but you should have seen the size on Tiddy's!!!

Tiddy decided to go for the Ultimite Red Velvet Cheesecake. It cost a dollar more, but was twice the size of my  piece! Even Tiddy couldn't finish it all, and he has an enormous apetite! So the nice waiter put Tiddy's cheesecake in the box too, and put it in a carrier bag to make it easier to carry home.

We took our cheesecake back to our hotel room and put it in the fridge. We didn't eat it till the next day, as we were soooo full. I was too full to have supper afterwards, but Tiddy managed to fit in a few donut holes that he had been saving in the fridge.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about the Cheesecake Factory. I'd better stop blogging now, as Tiddy wants to borrow the computer to do another blog. He loves blogging even more than me.

Tiddy is Cool in Vegas

Hi Everyone,

we've just had the absolutely best time ever in Las Vegas! I know I've told you how hot it was, way over 40 in British numbers and 112 in American one's. Well, today I want to tell you how I stayed a Cooooooooool Tiddy in a hot USA.

One of the really cool ways to stay cool are the street fans. They spray water and blow cold air at everyone on the sidewalk. That's an American word for the pavement.

A much tastier way to stay cool is ice cream. I love looking at all the brilliant flavours and the glass is lovely and cold to touch. I don't just like looking, I like eating it as well. We went to Ben and Jerry's in the Treasure Island Hotel and had a super duper time.

Can you see Charlie and me pretending to be Mr. Ben and Mr. Jerry?

All the buildings in Las Vegas have air conditioning. That means they are lovely and cold, but the coolest cold place is The Minus 5 Ice Lounge. It's so cool they even make the furniture out of ice! Now that is cooooooooooooooooooooool.

Another really brilliant thing that keeps me cool is our fridge. It's sooooooooooooooo fanteddytastic having a fridge in our room and we kept very tasty treats cool in it.

Can you see the Cheesecake Factory bag? Boy that was yummy, but I'll let Charlie tell you all about that next time.

Bye for now,

Lounging at Las Vegas Airport.

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick blog from the airport in Las Vegas. We are waiting for the people to get our plane ready to fly home. Mrs.C has brought us into The Club Class Lounge. I like it here, cos I'm soooooo good at lounging.

The seats are super comfy and the food is great. I like the biscuits, but Charlie went for the fruit and things.

Got to go now, cos the plane is nearly ready and I want to eat some more free food!

Back soon,

We're in the USA!

Hi everyone,

did you guess where we are? We're in Las Vegas in the USA. It's in a very hot bit called Nevada and it's very cooooooooool for a hot place.
There are loads of fanteddytastic lights here. I'll tell you more about it all another time, as me and Charlie are off out to have some breakfast before we get on a plane again.

It's Sooooooooooo Hot Here!

Hi Everyone,

sorry, you'll have to wait a bit for the rest of our trip through French France, cos we're on the road again.

We were really excited, cos we'd never been to Gatwick Airport. It was sooooooo big and the lounge was very nice.

We could see the planes landing from the window. Mr.P saw one when he was taking our picture. Can you see it?

On our way to get on the plane, Charlie had her picture taken with a massive Harrods Teddy.

When we got to 'The Gate', that's the place where they let you get on the plane, we could see our's out the window.

When we got on the plane, I was very excited!

There was a cooooooool telly and I could see all the aeroplanes out of the window.

I looked out the window when we were flying and I could see some mountains with snow on them. Mr.P said it was a country called Greenland, but it didn't look very green to me!

Mr.P said it should have been all white, but it's too warm cos of 'Global Warming' and the snow is melting.

We took off at 1 o'clock and it took ten hours to fly here, but when we landed the lady said it was only 3 o'clock.

Wow, time travel, just like Dr. Who!

When we got to our Hotel it was really tall and we've got a room on the 26th floor!

Mrs.C is very happy cos every day it's Sunny and Hot, Hot, Hot! Every night they turn the lights on!

Can you guess where we are?
